Well, Sedona has changed a lot since were last here over 30 years ago. It’s still gorgeous country but it’s also really crowded with tourists (like us). We had a nice time – biked a little, hiked a little, ate a lot. Yesterday we went to Jerome, the former copper mining town nearby. Sorry Dennis, most remnents of the hippie days are gone. Now it’s a town full of aging Harley Davidson riders and more tourists. We had a great outdoor lunch at the town bar-b-que, right on the main street, perfect for people watching. They even had blues playing on the sound system. The next day we said goodbye to Sedona and headed to Flagstaff.
A couple of relics of Jerome’s more recent past. Walter said the vehicle in the foregroundwas made from a small airplane.
